UC Santa Cruz’s Art Department will be hosting its quarterly Open Studios Friday to give the public an opportunity to see current students’ artwork.

The artist’s upcoming work celebrates her multifaceted approach to art making.

The Triton Museum in Santa Clara begins its 60th anniversary with a triumvirate of talent. The black-tie gala will come later, but for now, paintings, portals and sculptures fill the galleries.

Projects also address themes relevant to our everyday existence, like Laurus Myth’s LED mobile sculpture and performance project, which addresses the critical issue of pedestrian safety.
