SHINING A LIGHT ON INTERSECTIONS
The Junction Keep is a mobile LED sculpture and performance aimed at reducing pedestrian-vehicle collisions in San Francisco. This visionary project merges public art with social advocacy, addressing the critical issue of pedestrian safety in high-incident intersections. By illuminating crosswalks within the city's "collision corridors" and engaging the community through interactive performances, The Junction Keep intends to raise awareness and foster a sense of responsibility among drivers and pedestrians.
